Terms and Conditions
This agreement is entered into between Elevated Mind Retreats (referred to as the Organiser) and you (referred to as the Participant). By submitting a booking request, reservation, or payment for a retreat with Elevated Mind Retreats, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
Participation in any retreat is subject to review and approval following submission of the required Intake Form and any additional information requested by the Organiser.
By submitting a booking request, reservation, or payment via our website, cooperating booking platforms, WhatsApp, or email, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Participation & Intake Review
Participation in any retreat offered by Elevated Mind Retreats is subject to approval following review of the submitted Intake Form and any additional information requested.
Submitting a booking request, reservation, or payment does not automatically confirm participation. Elevated Mind Retreats reserves the right to decline, postpone, or limit participation if, based on the intake review, participation is deemed not appropriate, not timely, or not aligned with safety or group considerations.
A place is considered confirmed only after:

The intake review has been completed, and

Participation has been explicitly confirmed in writing by Elevated Mind Retreats.
Participants are strongly advised not to make irreversible travel arrangements (such as non-refundable flights or accommodation) until participation has been formally confirmed. Elevated Mind Retreats cannot be held responsible for travel or related costs incurred prior to confirmation.
2. Informed Participation
The Participant acknowledges the psychoactive nature of psilocybin and agrees to participate with full awareness and personal responsibility.
3. Safety Assurance
The Organiser commits to providing a safe, attentive, and supportive retreat environment. However, participation is voluntary and undertaken at the Participant’s own responsibility.
4. Conduct Agreement
Participants agree to approach the retreat with a respectful, considerate, and non-disruptive attitude. The Organiser reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour compromises group safety or cohesion, without obligation to refund.
5. Health Declaration
The Participant confirms that all health information provided in the Intake Form and Own Risk & Intention Declaration is accurate and complete, and agrees to inform the Organiser of any changes prior to the retreat.
6. Medication Responsibility
Participants are solely responsible for consulting their medical professional regarding prescribed medication. Elevated Mind Retreats does not advise on starting, stopping, or adjusting medication and holds no liability for effects related to medication changes.
7. Psychotic Disorder Confirmation
Participants confirm that they have no diagnosed psychotic disorders and are not currently experiencing acute psychiatric instability.
8. Dietary & Preparation Guidelines
Participants agree to follow all dietary, substance abstinence, and preparation guidelines provided by the Organiser.
9. Accommodation Terms
Accommodation is selected by Elevated Mind Retreats based on retreat structure, availability, and safety considerations, including but not limited to single-sex room arrangements. Accommodation cannot be changed or substituted by the Participant.
The Organiser reserves the right to allocate places based on accommodation suitability and group composition.
10. Early Departure
If a Participant chooses to leave the retreat early, no reimbursement or compensation will be provided.
11. Booking & Payment
All bookings are subject to successful completion and approval of our confidential Participant Intake Form. Participation is only formally confirmed following approval of the intake process.
For direct bookings, full payment is normally required to secure your place. In some cases, Elevated Mind Retreats may agree to a payment plan, which will be confirmed in writing.
Where a payment plan is agreed, the initial downpayment is due immediately upon booking confirmation. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 45 days before the retreat start date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
For bookings made within 45 days of the retreat start date, the full retreat fee is payable upon booking confirmation.
All payments, including downpayments, are subject to the cancellation conditions outlined in Section 12.
If a participant fails to make an agreed payment by the due date, Elevated Mind Retreats may cancel the booking after providing written notice and a reasonable opportunity to complete payment. Any refund will be determined in accordance with Section 12.
For bookings made through third-party platforms such as BookRetreats, the payment terms presented and accepted at the time of booking apply where they differ from these terms.
11.1 Private Retreats
Private retreat pricing is based on the requested dates, accommodation, facilitator availability and retreat format.
The advertised private retreat rate represents the starting price for the applicable retreat format and may not apply to all dates or arrangements.
For private retreats requested within four weeks of the desired retreat start date, additional charges may apply to accommodate short-notice planning and scheduling requirements.
Seasonal pricing adjustments may also apply during periods of higher demand, including summer months, public holidays and other peak periods.
Any adjusted pricing will be communicated and agreed upon in writing before a booking is confirmed.
12. Cancellation Policy
Booking Confirmation
All retreat bookings are subject to successful completion and approval of our confidential Participant Intake Form. Each participant must complete their own form. Participation is formally confirmed only after the intake review has been approved.
If Elevated Mind Retreats determines that participation is unsuitable during the intake assessment, the booking will be cancelled and payments already made will be refunded. For bookings made through third-party platforms, refunds will be coordinated with the relevant platform.
Cancellation by the Participant
The following cancellation conditions apply to both group and private retreats once participation has been confirmed:

63 days or more before the retreat: Full refund of payments received, minus a €45 administration fee.

Between 62 and 46 days before the retreat: 50% refund of payments received, minus a €45 administration fee.

45 days or less before the retreat: No refund.
Refunds are calculated exclusively on payments already received by Elevated Mind Retreats, not on the total retreat price. Refunds cannot exceed the amount paid, and no additional payment will be required solely to cover an administration fee exceeding the refundable amount.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. The date on which Elevated Mind Retreats receives the request determines the applicable cancellation period.
Changes to Retreat Dates
At the discretion of Elevated Mind Retreats and subject to availability, a booking may be transferred to another retreat date for valid reasons.
An administration fee of €45 applies to approved transfers.
For private retreats, additional non-refundable accommodation or scheduling costs directly resulting from a requested date change may apply. Any additional costs will be communicated and agreed upon before the transfer is confirmed.
Date changes are not guaranteed.
Bookings Through Third-Party Platforms
For bookings made through third-party platforms such as BookRetreats, the cancellation and refund conditions presented and accepted at the time of booking apply where they differ from these terms.
Deposits collected by third-party platforms are subject to the relevant platform's refund procedures.
13. Travel Insurance
The Organiser is not responsible for cancellations, delays, or costs related to illness, travel disruption, or unforeseen circumstances. Participants are strongly advised to obtain adequate travel insurance.
14. Liability
By participating, the Participant accepts the inherent risks involved and releases the Organiser, its owners, facilitators, and employees from liability for injury, loss, or damages during or after the retreat.
15. Modification of Terms
Elevated Mind Retreats reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
